Crystal McLeod, BScPT

Orthopaedics, Sports Injury

Crystal graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She spent many years working in private practice in Edmonton. Prior to moving to Penticton she spent time travelling and working as a physical therapist in Australia. Crystal joined the Dale Charles Physiotherapy Clinic in 2001.

With twenty years of experience working in a variety of orthopaedic private practices she has come to love being a physical therapist and analyzing patient's different movement patterns. She helps clients establish a home program to correct their muscle imbalances, improve their posture and decrease their pain. She encourages patients to take an active role in their recovery.

The Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia encourages 'Moving for Life'. Crystal believes in this philosophy so much, that she regularly walks her 14-year-old dog, Gunnar. She feels it is the best therapy for him. Crystal likes to keep active herself and enjoys many sports, but most of all she enjoys playing with her family.
